Hi, I'm Tasha and thank you for visiting Dolphin Creek Flowers
A little bit about me and my journey so far...
I trained as a florist around 18 years ago. While working in the trade for high street florist shops, I became aware of the many environmental issues within the industry. I discovered nearly all the flowers purchased in the UK are imported. I became more and more interested in provenance and inspired by this I began to build connections with local flower farmers in and around my area. Fast forward....! and now I am at the heart of a wonderful little network of local growers that I am able to call upon during the growing season - using these blooms alongside my own home grown flowers and herbs allows me access to a wonderfully unique range that are full of scent and individuality that are always cut to order by myself or the farmer to ensure freshness for my clients.
To ensure I have access to beautiful blooms for the full 12 months of the year, I use flowers from the Dutch Wholesalers. These are used at low English season, ie Winter Weddings and at Christmas time to ensure I can carry on trading.
As a florist and nature lover I am heavily influenced by the seasons, I am often spotted foraging and diving into hedgerows to find those precious little treasures to incorporate in my work, so each piece has a uniqueness that is rarely repeated.
If you would like to know more about Dolphin Creek Flowers and if I could assist you then do get in touch - I would love to hear from you!
